After re-opening the Verdin Arms on 3rd September 2010, we have had some very encouraging and positive feedback from customers.
Our talented and innovated team of Chefs are dedicated to creating unusual and exciting dishes, and for 2011 we shall be offering fine dining with separate lunch and dinner service. There will also be the introduction of High Tea in the afternoons, serving speciality cakes, sandwiches and pastries with choice of tea or coffee per 2 persons.
For guests who just want simple light bite food in the day, we shall be offering senior citizens specials and also meal deals on certain produce.
Our front of house staff have been specifically trained, they are all friendly and will ensure you receive a professional service, allowing you to relax in attractive surroundings.
Why not join us this Halloween for an unusual array of events, or Bonfire night which proves to be explosive with your fireworks display team on hand to make sure everyone enjoys the night, grab a much needed hearty snack from the bar-b-que. Just turn up for both events and enjoy.............

We also offer private functions, including weddings, marquee hire etc., and have our very own personal wedding planner who will sit and discuss your requirements, and even book your honeymoon for you, at special discounted rates in the UK or abroad. We also offer a wedding package for those of you who want to get married abroad. Just book an appointment to see Karen, our events co-ordinator.
For 2011 we intend to have gourmet and themed evenings, with European cuisine from around the world with music and entertainment. Booking advisable for these events.
Our extraordinary Chefs will also be doing special "tasting" menus, and we aim to offer as much variety as possible from within the realms of our kitchen.
We have also just been granted with a CL (Certified Location) certificate, by the Caravan Club, so immediately we can house up to 5 mobile caravans on site. Just enquire for overnight accommodation, if you want to pamper yourself even further, then why not book one of our special dinner, bed and breakfast week end deals in our stableyard accommodation, comfortably furnished with en suite, tea and coffee making facilities, TV.
If you like Car Boot sales, then we shall also be holding these throughout next year, look out for the boards advertising future dates.
